2015 National Summit: Sophomore Album Hit!

All year, we are lucky enough to work with a network of people dedicated to getting kids outdoors. They increase access, build community capacity, and empower those who know youth best, teachers and youth workers, to connect kids to the transformative power of nature.
This year's Summit provided the opportunity to both celebrate and strengthen that work. There are solid resources and refined initiatives born from last week. Thanks to the Avarna Group, we have new tools for creating more inclusive and equitable programs. We have a broader understanding of how we can leverage technology in this work through platforms like TYO and Transit & Trails. With invaluable contributions from our network members, we've begun distilling the core practices and innovations of gear libraries and outdoor leadership trainings. Resources and some of the presentations from the Summit are now on this page of our website.
We are so grateful for the contribution of all participants and hope everyone left with some fresh insights, renewed energy and new friends!
